Public Transportation Program
The Heard County Rural Public Transportation Program is operated by Heard County Transit Department using a “Demand Response” model, which allows the transit bus to pick up consumers from their residence and drop off at the requested destination. Their area of operation covers the entire county, as well as transportation opportunities outside of the county.
Fare is $1.00 per one way trip within City of
Franklin
$1.50 per one way trip outside City of Franklin, within
Heard County
$5.00 per one way trip outside Heard County (Carroll,
Coweta, or Troup Counties)
Price Per Stop is $1.00
Hours of Operations: 7am to 4pm , with last ride pick up scheduled for 3:30pm Monday to Friday
